Fortune Framer is led by Rachel Dressel. She began her career in the arts as an Art Historian, receiving a Master’s degree from Bryn Mawr College focusing on the history of photography and working in special collections. Her interests moved into custom framing when she was working at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. After her work in Philly was done, she moved back home to Charlotte, NC and began working in local custom frame shops. She learned the art of custom framing as well as expert preservation practices, becoming a sought after craftsman for fine art and archival framing. Rachel believes that modern framing does not have to be lifeless. She provides framing that fits contemporary design aesthetics, but also provides a unique twist. Her frames are high quality, one-of-a-kind, and shine in the details.
